Step 01 of 08
Tell us about your business
Selling well starts with telling the truth — clearly, in the order a buyer will hear it.
Most owners come to us with a P&L and a story. We turn both into a structured profile a buyer can act on: revenue and SDE, real owner add-backs, customer concentration, lease terms, employees, the reason for sale. Nothing fancy — just every fact a serious buyer will eventually ask for, captured once.
The questionnaire is plain-English. If you don't know an answer, you say so. If a number needs explaining (a one-time legal expense, a personal vehicle on the books), there's a box to explain it. The goal isn't a perfect spreadsheet — it's a complete picture, the kind a broker would assemble for you over three weeks of phone calls.
What we deliver in this step
- Last 3 years of revenue and net income
- Owner add-backs (salary above market, personal vehicle, family health insurance, etc.)
- Employee count and key-person dependence
- Lease or owned real estate details
- Customer concentration (top 5 customers as % of revenue)
- Reason for sale and ideal timeline
